HOPE RISES AS ELECTRICITY CABLES ARE FIXED

Today students residing in the infamous Soweto hostels saw their faces lit up with hope after K.P.L.C fixed the long awaited cables connecting the new transformer to the newly constructed powerhouse.Speaking to students, one of the technicians fixing the cables assured the students watching curiously that indeed their problem was close to being put permanently behind their backs.

However, a number of self-proclaimed engineers were neither moved nor impressed by this and they expressed their fears that this was just another of the administration's trick to keep comrades in check. They feel that nothing in Moi happens immediately and we might have to wait for a month or more until the project is complete.I heard one complaining openly, "Wamezoea kutufunga macho, hii ni mpaka next month." (They are used to tricking us,this will wait up to next month)

Whatever happens next,we have to wait and see.
